I first started baking cakes as a hobby, but after meeting a local “cookie lady,” I decided to give cookies a try. My first attempt at royal icing was such a flop that I tucked the mixer away and took a break. Three months later—after countless YouTube videos and even buying a few courses—I pulled the mixer back out, and this time it clicked. I was ecstatic!

In 2022, I began teaching cookie classes, and I’ve loved it ever since. Meeting new students, sharing skills, and watching their joy when they finish a set makes it all worthwhile. The number one thing I hear at the end of class is: “Wow, now I understand why these cookies are so expensive!”

Today, I balance custom orders with teaching cookie decorating classes, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Baking has become more than a hobby—it’s a passion I get to share with others, one cookie at a time.
